Family Needs

A family app where anyone at home asks for groceries, medicine or help by tapping a picture, and everyone reads it in their own language.

Family Needs lets a child, an elderly parent or a household helper say what the home needs by tapping a picture, and every other member reads the same request in their own language, because a request carries an item, not text. It covers groceries, household supplies, medicine courses and one-press requests for help that alert every linked phone in the home. A guardian signs in and links the household to the Family Needs server, while helpers and children join by scanning a QR code, with no account or password. It is built with .NET MAUI Blazor Hybrid for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows, backed by an ASP.NET Core API and admin site.
